As most of you know, faith in Christ is the central force of my life. The love I have for my wife and family, the joy and anxiety I got from my career, and this writing gig are all wonderful outworkings of that faith, but they are not WHY I exist. But that doesn’t mean that knowing Jesus is the only way to navigate this world.
It is the best way. And, it is the only way to receive eternal life with God. But, as we live our way through this broken world, many of us choose to take different paths seeking fulfillment.
That work, finding our way forward, becoming who we are meant to be (by God?), is the single mandatory journey we all face. You don’t HAVE to do much in the world, really, but you will quickly learn that the world is an unforgiving place that has a consequence for every action, or inaction, you take.
So this week, as you’re lounging by the pool, give this a quick listen and consider: how is your journey going? Where is it leading you? Do you feel any closer to learning something about yourself than you did a week ago? A month? A year.
Keep walking forward. I love you all. See you next week.
