You might assume from my subtitle header that I feel strongly about this topic, and you would be correct. I have come to the realization that life requires help…and lots of it…through the proven method of trial and experience. I have also learned about the abundance of love God has for me by His provision in my life of a wife like Anne. I have prayed and will continue to do so, for my children to enjoy similar blessings of companionship with wise and loving partners. So far, so good.
In all of its complexities, a human relationship can be the best kind of dance, where one partner is allowed to move with elegance while the other makes the movement possible. Such has been my experience with Anne, and I hope I have let her “twirl” with flair, though I am sure not often enough.
While you can certainly try to navigate life’s hilltops, peaks, valleys, and canyons on your own, it seems to me that you will likely end up lonely, tired, and if you aren’t extremely lucky, lost. Blessings on your journey; I truly hope you find your one.
